Something strange is going on with the odds for the LA-Seattle game coming up.
When the odds opened, the Rams were favored by 3 points, according to ESPN. Not too surprising. But now, the odds favor the Seahawks by 5. I don’t think I ever remember a game where the odds changed so drastically.
If the Rams win, they will have the 3 seed and a home game with either the Commanders or the Packers. If they lose, and Tampa wins, the Rams drop to the four seed and a date with either the Vikings or us.
Speculation is McVay is resting starters as a priority over improved seeding.
I think its a mistake. You play for the higher seed. We were a three seed last year and had two home games. 3 played 4 (Tampa) in the second round. McVay would look pretty dumb if he concedes the three seed and the same thing happened.
I love our coach and how we played last night. There’s no mealy-mouthed grey area.
That said, I agree that he’s not hell bent on playing us or Minnesota. But it does seem like a taller task, even with rest, than GB or Washington.
