Well, I certainly donât remember it. I remember the picture getting reposted tons of times in adulation - in fact thereâs a few posters who have adopted it as their profile picture. There definitely wasnât a thread created about how Branch cost his team.
For the record, I donât care about either. Just hilarious to me that one gets adulation and the other gets a thread asking if they should be benched. Both dumbheaded things that happened out of frustration and lack of control over emotions.

Benching him would be a dumb move. Coaching him up on the sideline, letting him know thatâs unacceptable, and then going right back to him is how you win over a player like Jamo

I remember in the moment being petrified when Sewell caught that pass to beat the Vikings a couple of years ago because he took a swing at the guy who tackled him. That would have been a crippling penalty, but thankfully it wasnât called.

I coached 14-16 and JV for years
If something like this happened I would have a good talking to the player
Keep them out 1-2 plays
Then ask them if they were ready
Their response would tell me what i needed to know

How many times are we going to make excuses for this dude? He is seemingly putting THE TEAM in jeopardy each week with his childish and selfish behavior. He has reached âturdâ status in my eyes at this point.

Yeah he just needs an ass chewing for doing that when we were in FG range in a game where we lost the momentum. Totally agree on it being an absolute overreaction to bench him

Branch has established himself as one of the best players on the team and it was Packers fans. I was okay with that one.
He has apologized to the team multiple times. Yet he STILL doesnât get it.

that was done by more than just him, which is why 4 players got suspended and at least 3 team employees fired
that we have no clue about what was taken or what really happened
isnât illegal and he wasnât charged.

Hitlerâs lawyer could be on my team, and if the coach has his back, I have his back. It is amazing how many licensed psychiatrists we have in our Den family. Or maybe we just have a bunch of crochety old men who would rather a guy fit the mold they have as a model player instead of rooting for him as long as he is on our team.
Jamo has had haters here since the second he was drafted.
