Right now the hate is only from the Vikings and Packers, the two teams that have owned us for so so long. Everyone else loves the Lions.

I never thought about it this way. Wouldn’t that be the ultimate kick in the nuts for Vikings fans. Detroit wins a Super Bowl before them.
They are all over the place. There are still some Rams fans that love us…“they rooted for us, we should root for them”, or “Goff was unfairly treated here, hope he gets his”…but yeah, there’s some hate flowing from over there too. We’ve beaten them twice; a third time would be painful.
They’re all pissed about Dan telling KOC we’ll see you in 2 weeks. Blah blah.

I think he’s referring to Dan saying “see u in 2 weeks” to the Vikings coach. Rams feel dissed.

That really a thing, eh? Nonsense. Dan would have said the same thing to McVay. It’s just another way of saying good luck. I mean I know you know that. I’m just stating in general terms.
Some Rams fans thought it was no big deal either. But others are all riled up.
As for the original question, I do when I’m on layovers (back at the hotel) or in the airport waiting on a flight. It doesn’t require thought and gives me a good laugh. Also is a good reminder to be thankful that I’m balanced and a football team doesn’t control my life’s emotions. I absolutely am a huge fan of the Lions, but my day is not determined on whether they win or lose. I mean folks going into full meltdown mode and wishing ill will on others is just bonkers to me.
It would be nice to have the most popular other team forums in one place. I would have no idea which one to go to.

Honestly teams are always looking for angles to feel disrespected, so I fully expect them to lean into Dan’s innocuous little statement and mine it for all its worth. In that respect he probably did McVay and the rest of that Rams staff a solid, while at the same time making KOC’s job a little more difficult. Nothing like bulletin board material from a division rival lol.
Pretty sure that is part of the plan. I think Dan would rather play LA again then Minny if it came to it.
I tend to think he was being kind in the moment, but I certainly wouldn’t put it past him to have thought through the consequences.

I go to that Chicitysports one occasionally just to see Bear fans losing their minds. Some seriously unpleasant people there.
I did check out purple pain yesterday and got a good laugh. Typical homers: Lion PI on every pass play and Lion offensive holding on every play. The only thing better than having them flame out in the first round would be handing them 3 of their 4 losses on the season!

1000%.They have some serious issues on that site. There are a couple of Lions trolls that get them going. I’m not a fan of that usually, but it’s entertaining because it’s Chicago. They are literally the worst!! The Daily Den posts on their Windy City Gridiron site get a lot of comments, more balanced than CCS, but they’re still delusional Bears fans.
