I confess that I’ve visited the Vikings Purple Pain forum and they are in full meltdown mode. I call their tears Purple Drank and they’re mighty tasty. The fans are fearing the worst because of Lions hangover.
Still, I’d prefer to play the Packers rather than the Vikings in 10 or 11 days. The Vikings defense can cause high variance problems–TOs–and I don’t think Sam Darnold could be much worse. He would certainly be better prepared for the Defcon 1 chaos that AG dealt him last weekend.

We are in the phase of our league takeover where most of the league still loves us - honestly I think we’re everyone’s #2 team - while our division mates (especially Vikings and Packers) are howling into the void about how overrated we are, how we get away with penalties, how Dan is not the good guy he seems to be, how we’ll fall apart as soon as Ben and AG leave, on and on and on.
Soon enough the rest of the league will get tired of us too and hate us as much as they do the Chiefs and Pats with Brady. Then we’ll know we’ve REALLY done something. We’ve arrived completely as a juggernaut.
