Hahahaha
Seriously he just needed to say “he’s doubtful but we’ll see how he progresses the rest of the week.”
Next question about it
“I already answered that.”
Like seriously, know how to shut that down. And be succinct in your own answers

For sure. And DPJ shutting down some of those stupid questions was good. Was just disappointed to not really feel like his personality was coming through. Would’ve been neat to hear some actual thought about returning to the Detroit area or what it was like to get the phone call. Just felt very PR, scripted and lifeless to me on some of the non-gotcha questions. Which, I get it, these guys have to be guarded, but hopefully he opens up a little more as time goes on.
Can’t forget that coaches who are nearing/on hot seats have to manage the media and probably kiss a little more reporter butt than those coaches with more job security
I agree, and there was some post about him being a lions fan growing up too? Would love to see that and a more in depth and sincere interview with him.
I suppose, but they are just using that against him. If he’s trying to get a little sympathy from the reporters, they obviously have none to give and he’s just screwing himself more.
Agreed. Turns out the guy makes bad decisions lol
The hair on these WRs really top notch. No wonder we traded for DPJ.
I’ve listened to a couple of his interviews there. The media there is the worst I’ve ever heard, including new york, new jersey and philly. Heinous.
That said, you have to be a much better communicator than he is with them, even if you’re communicating nothing.
by the way, DPJ should never be interviewed again. That was awful.
Remember Calvin as a rookie… his interviews back then make DPJ look like Hulk Hogan in his prime.
His snswers seemed short and to the point… nothing wrong with that. Once he’s been here a while, he might get more comfortable and colorful.
Regardless of his interview, he brings a welcome addition to the Lions WR room. His body type and speed.is along the lines of DJ Chark, so I’m excited to see what he can do down the stretch here. If he can click with Goff, lookout! He’ll do real well as that big bodied speedy WR.
Niiiiice
