Dre Greenlaw confirmed Achilles Tear

Hard not to feel horrible for such an incredible competitor. Unlike Rogers, I believe this injury will likely cause Greenlaw to miss a significant chunk of the 24 season.

Already listed as a potential salary cap casualty, this injury adds another element of murky uncertainty about Greenlaw’s future with the 49ers.

I guess we will be seeing him in a Lions uni much sooner than I thought.

That really sucks.

Seems like this injury happens more often than it used to

The way it happened was ridiculous! Just running back onto the field

He was bouncing a little but damn it wasn’t a Tulloch self-inflicted injury.

Exactly, he wasn’t doing anything different than any other player jubilant to be in the Super Bowl and excited to take the field and make his presence felt. Seriously, this is just a tragic thing.

It reminds me of when my daughter was little and she liked me to bounce with her. I knew it as jumping in place on a hard floor but I wasn’t about to argue with her because she was so much fun.

That’s rough. Plus it’s already Mid February. Would be very difficult to make it back for any of next season.

Big loss for them. Good for the Lions though

He was going to be a free agent after next season, too. That really sucks for him.

I just read about his background and story.
He’s been through a lot
