In other news, Suh says he’s in touch with the Ravens, and seems to have enjoyed seeing the curb-stomping yesterday. Adding insult to injury to those of us who wanted him here.
Honestly, I’d be surprised if Brad made a big splash at this point. He’s talking about staying the course and that’s probably the wisest thing. It’s true that anything could happen and they won’t be this close again for a long time. I mean, both Goff and Hooker could be lost to injury by October next year for example. But we’ve seen the growth from year one to now, and should be willing to trust the process they have in place. Sign their own guys. Continue to draft well.
Now does that mean they shouldn’t add a vet CB right now, naw they totally should. Maybe even a Danielle Hunter? That’s a bit out there, and Kwesi must be wary of dealing with Brad by now…

JJ is injury prone. If we play Harris at OCB for any extended amount of time. If we make the playoffs, we are bounced in the first game

If anything, this week illustrated that the time is NOT now. I think it might have been a wake up call for the fans and management that the team likely isn’t ready to compete for a Superbowl now so I don’t think emptying the vault for a win now player is in the cards. What this week also illustrated, however, is that they need help at either CB or on the D-Line, short and long term, so a depth add or two would be nice.
