Amon Ra said in his post contract interview that he’s happy but the “highest paid” label wouldn’t last for long. In a way I love it for him, because he gets to enjoy being the highest paid without ever having the burden of showing up in the building being the highest paid.

Like if the report is for the entire contract not just extension? Like the extension is for 2027-2029.
But under his current contract hes still owed 9.684m in 2027.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I checked my work again and didn’t have the 2023 option bonus in there. Looked it over three times and didn’t catch it originally, sometimes, you just have to step away for a second.
But it’s a legit $32M contract, has cash due of $32M in 2028 and $31M in 2029 which is also significantly less than ARSB’s 2028 salary of $36M.
The cash paid to Brown in 2024 remains the same, but they give him $12M more in 2025 and have him under contract for $21M in 2027 ($33M total) and they have the option of paying him $32/$31M for 2028/2029 if they want . Pretty good deal by the Eagles, Howie is good at this shit. My guess is with Jefferson, Lamb and Chase coming up, they wanted to get in front of any complaints and gave him a raise now.
