There are NO available decent OL on the trade market.
So the ONLY area the Lions could add to for the playoffs. Is the DL. Not a splash. But depth. Rotational pass rusher. Comes in on passing downs.

Thats where the extra rusher could help. Right now they are trying Lacy, Wheat and Nowasake for the 4th DL on passing downs. Hasnt worked well.

Yeah this is just bottom of the roster churn, as evidenced by the cost. In fact I would have titled it “Jets trade for Metchie.”

I actually like our DL depth.
The OL is the biggest weakness on the team and is where I would focus on improving if I were Holmes.
There has to be someone out there.
I sure geeked out about Stiggers at the time because of his backstory. I haven’t follow him since the the first couple games he played in.
