I remember when Dan Pompei (or some sportswriter) made a hot take prediction of the Lions to the Super Bowl, which turned out the be a disastrous prediction.
This is the first time someone could make the prediction and not get laughed out of the sportsworld.

I understand the Packers had a solid year, but damn it feels like they are being overhyped.
I personally would be surprised to see them in the playoffs next year, that team overachieved. They lost so some very mediocre teams last year as well.
I see 8-9 wins, IMO. They are actually currently over the cap and they can’t let Jordan love enter the last year of his deal making peanuts.

They’re the youngest team in the league and improved as the season progressed, much like the Lions in 2022… Love dramatically improved the 2nd half of the season. I’m concerned about the Packers the most over the next 3-5 years, I think they’re going to be a problem for us.
Yeah, but the Lions had Barry Sanders back then, so not so much a stretch.
Five picked the Chiefs to make it, five picked the Lions to make it. OK so they’ve got the Chiefs going 5-0 and the Lions going 2-3, but still.
Super Bowl talk in the national media is something we’re going to have to get used to this offseason.
