He’s good at recognizing the good in losses. I wish he’d be more forthright in acknowledging the bad in wins.

I’m on the measured side myself. 1-0 w/lots to work on is way better than 0-1 w/lots to work on, 1st game, all of that. But “a win’s a win”… meh.

Dan is right about the offense hurting the defense in the 2nd half…

Can’t get mad at 2 quick TDs off turnovers, but going 3 and out twice basically put the defense on the field for the entire 3rd quarter and gassed them. Conditioning should improve as the year goes on too

I was thinking the same thing, ie the defense went from stellar to tired (especially against the “no huddle” scheme).

I mentioned before the presser and Dan said it around the 6:30-45 mark

Clean things up mentally! They lost focus and relaxed uo 21…. Knowing what to do but failed to do it …. Being context but NEVER complacent baby!!

Then Dani almost dropped the F bomb if you were paying attention to it right afterwards

If you listdn to his pressers, he’s always specifically positive about individual players and units, and anything negative falls into the “we gotta clen up some things”. It’s what good coaches and leaders do. You win or lose as a team, while calling out special effort and performance. Keep that shit in house.
