FA starts on Monday!

I mean, not really, but the early tampering period does, which is basically the start.

Besides Hendrickson and Linderbaum, who do you want us to sign? I’m going with James Conner, Charlie Kolar, and I think at center my preference is Connor McGovern.

I would actually take McGovern over Linderbaum.

Hendrickson is my biggest dream.

I would poke around and see what it would take to get Marshon Lattimore, who was cut by the commanders a couple days ago.

Charlie Kolar is an elite gem shout

I don’t think it would take much to get Lattimore. And he has a history with Dan for sure. Just not sure he has anything left in the tank.

@1CasanovaJack has always loved him and I’ve been a fan since his big 12 days, and he’s a good fit for what we want to do and I don’t think he’ll cost too much.

I haven’t thought about this much

Trey would be cool, but overall I’m just hoping for a series of sensible and stable signings.

I think I buy the Cade Mayes appeals to the Lions note that came out a couple weeks ago. Out of the Centers he just seems amongst the best equipped to handle our gap scheme stuff.

Also AVT just screams Brad injury lottery ticket signing.

I dont want conner.

Old, coming off a massive leg injury. No bueno please, even if he if he could be a good locker room guy

Not even to disrespect him either, cause I like him, I do, but…. no not after what happened last year.

Man prime Milano is a glove fit for us, I’m just not sure how much he’s got left after all the injuries.

I get that he’s a boring pick, but he allows us to kick the can down the road which imo is perfect for our current build. There’s just no one worth spending any capital on - via the draft or in actual dollars - so for me finding a stop gap is the best solution.

Now if we could get a Brian Robinson or Allgeier type for cheap I’d be all for it, but I don’t think we’ll be able to. Yet we ought to be able to find viable options on the cheap (even if it’s not Conner). Last year at this time the Cowboys got Javonte Williams for peanuts and the Steelers got Gainwell for nothing as well. Those kinds of deals are out there and I think Conner would be one.

I also don’t know that the injury is all that bad re: his production this year. I mean I don’t think it takes as long to bounce back from as an ACL or achilles or patellar tendon.

He does, but probably the worst of the available options at the 2nd level. Much better than Glasgow still though, and I agree that we seem to be leaning into brutes over athletes.

Great list Marty

Fixes needs and their not wants and shouldn’t break the bank. Most would be one year deals as well.

McGovern at Center is my first choice.

I would really be happy with any of Mafe, Paye, Dre’Mont, Epenesa, Mack, Ebiketie, or Fowler opposite Hutch. If it’s Dre’Mont Jones, would like to see a pass rush specialist in the draft on day 2. If it’s Ebiketie, a Dre’Mont type.

Kolar is a great option at TE. Him and Bellinger would be my hand pick choices.

I don’t think Allgeier is a realistic target with how thin the market is and quite a few teams needing at least a committee type starter. But he is an ideal fit with Gibbs and dare I say upgrade from Monty :face_with_hand_over_mouth: Others I like are Pacheco, Dobbins, E. Wilson, Rodriguez, Tucker, and Rivers. But none of them would stop me from also drafting a guy.

Really want both Maddox and Rock resigned. Is Arnold in jeopardy of missing time? If not I actually like our starting 3 corners and don’t feel a need to add anything more but depth types. I think I’m don’t with Amik unless he’s dirt cheap.

That’s my list. Of course we probably need to bring in a Safety and LBer but there are none that are on my wish list. Both positions I would like to see be addressed on day 3 as well as bringing in someone with a starter track level (especially at Safety). If I had to pick one who I thought was realistic I would go Andre Cisco. Loved him coming out!

Right, there are a lot of edge options I’d be fine with which was why I stayed away from listing them honestly. In fact I’d be good with pretty much all of the ones you listed save Epenesa and Fowler, unless they come really cheap. I’d probably add Key, Koonce, Ossai and maybe even oldsters like Van Noy and Cam Jordan, depending on cost of course.

I just don’t think the RB options in the draft are worth a pick. Maybe a very late guy, but hell you can usually find someone good in UDFA, like a Sean Tucker or Damien Martinez. Finding RBs is easier and cheaper than pretty much any other spot save maybe safety. I almost listed Pacheco too, but I really do have Conner a tier above them all for us specifically.

I think Jerome Ford could be a sneaky good option in FA at RB.

Another good one. I doubt he costs anything.
