Fan Duel Sports Network (RSN) bankruptcy AGAIN

, ,

Are we FINALLY going to get direct to consumer streaming? With NO BLACKOUT? If not ill stay on the high seas

Such a joke

Yeah at this rate why don’t the leagues just offer single game streaming packages. You pay the nfl tree fiddy and you have the game for 48 hours or you pay 10 bucks and keep it.

Basically go to the boxing/ufc model but cheaper. It’s not like the nfl gives a rip about poor folks anyway.

I’m really getting over commercial sports…

Because private equity firms with streaming services and exclusive rights deals pay money up front. They take on all the risk not the team/ league. but they get a smaller slice of the pie.

So in the long run, if the teams: leagues had their own service, yea the leagues and teams would make more money, but more effort and risk.

vs hey, this private equity group will pay me and do it all? Sold.

The short term business case isn’t there yet, but eventuality it’ll happen with one of the leagues.

Damn, not making it easy.
We are set up for autorenewal and also get ESPN Unlimited via YTtv package but this is stupid.

Last season I was able to get MLB.tv for free through my cell phone provider. Not sure if that’ll work this coming season or not. Also, I have YoutubeTV but still don’t see where I have access to ESPN Unlimited yet. Have you been able to verifiy in any way that you are getting ESPN Unlimited access via your YoutubeTV subscription?

And lastly, for those who might be interested. I just went into my YoutubeTV add ons and they appear to be offering NFL Sunday Ticket (for the 2026 season) for $192.00. It says that offer will end on March 20th.

Never had Fanduel channels in florida. Those greedy m-fers at Xfinity made you pay extra, which i didnt do. Im ready to go streaming in the near future, Xfinity prices just keep going up.

TBH, I don’t have any interest in ESPN Unlimited so I never verified I had it, or not. I have auto renewal set up for MLB.tv so i should be fine.
