Ok, so my QB situation is a bit complicated after my blockbuster trade for Nico Collins late last night.
Who would you start this week?
CJ Stroud
Justin Fields
Justin Herbert
Cam Ward

Are all 4 on your roster, or the wire?
Stroud or Fields.
If 1 point every 10 yds rushing, probably fields. Stroud with Nico stack good too. Tuff decision.
I am not starting Ward in week 1. But he is certainly one to watch for mid-season.
Stroud vs Rams concerns me. However, I think Stroud has to throw it all over the field because I have zero faith in Houston’s run game.
Fields-best ceiling of the 4 but risky.
Herbert-best floor of the 4 in my opinion. (Friday Night Game in Brazil… I don’t think week 1 games on off nights pushes the needle. I do believe playing in Brazil does.)
I wish there was a simple answer here. I think I fall to Stroud because he is going to be forced to pass frequently. But Fields if you are thinking he is going to go off. (I can’t get there)
On my roster.
Long story short. I passed on Jayden Daniels in the 3rd round for some â– â– â– â– â– â– â– reason. My plan was to get Kyler in the 8th, but he got snagged 4 picks in front of me. I then panicked and took Fields. I took Stroud two rounds later. I got Herbert in the Collins trade and got to pick up Cam Ward off of waivers last night.
I assume it’s a 4-point passing TD league?
Flacco against the Bengals
Rodgers against the Jets
Yes
Yikes. In a 4 pt per touchdown league. Hmm. I like Stroud.
Yeah I think week 1 I’d just roll with Stroud and hope the stack with Nico can pay off. He could be running for his life behind that meh OL against the Rams line, but if he has the time the Rams secondary isn’t great. Fields would normally be my choice in a 4-point passing league, but that matchup with Pittsburgh stinks. Herbert would be the other guy in consideration, but Jim Harbaugh QBs have never been great for fantasy. I think only one has finished top 12 every, Kaepernick, the year they went to the Super Bowl. The man just loves to run.
My real hope is that Cam Ward develops into “the guy” I can start every week. I’m high enough on him to where I’m willing to let him develop over the first several weeks.
Right, I have some shares of him too for that reason. But certainly you don’t want to roll him out week 1 against Denver.
