Fears withdraws from the draft

In what would have been a kick to the nuts if he left Fears makes a smart decision for MSU

The single most important question of Michigan State’s offseason has been answered: Jeremy Fears Jr. is coming back for his junior season.

Fears, 21, withdrew from the NBA Draft process before Wednesday night’s NCAA deadline. The Spartans’ record-setting point guard is coming back for another run as the Spartans eye a trip to the Final Four at Ford Field.

Momcilolvic is supposedly getting $7m and Louisville is trying to sway him away from Kentucky. How much does Louisville have to spend? That would be $17m on just three players.

Is it Yum Brands money?

Yessoufou got $7m from Louisville. If Koa came back and made himself a FA (he didn’t go into the portal so he couldn’t) he probably could have pulled $8.5m. The money is getting wild. Ten figure deals incoming.

The strategy if you are just trying to maximize earnings potential is to enter the portal and declare and come back when there is late desperation.
