I actually think it may be the week to give Mahogany some run. Lets see what he has. Ben Johnson has seemed really excited about his play. Maybe the fresh legs and younger body will be more positive than the young player mistakes. At least get Glasgow a weeks (maybe a couple) before Minnesota and then the playoffs.
Everyone has a bad game here and there… He was given a 3 year deal, I’m wondering if they move him back to the right side and start Mahogany at LG next year. With the caveat that Zietler doesn’t resign, but my preference is to have him back next season.
Glasgow is under contract for next season so he will be with the Lions.
He is better on the right side so he can go back to RG, stay at LG or be the first interior sub.
Zeitler is solid and at 35 next year he would probably still be the best RG on the roster.
If Zeitler decides to continue playing Holmes can bring him back on another 1 year deal or trust one of Mahogany, Kayode, or Sorsdal to start with Glasgow at guard.
It will be interesting if Zeitler isn’t brought back because all are best at RG (except maybe Kayode).
Who gets the premium RG position between Frank & Penei, and who gets the LG starting position.
I agree with you, I think Mahogany gets a starting position. I think GG continues to start as well but he may get to move back to the right side.
