For the first time since 1984! All 4 major franchises could make the post season!

1983-1984 Lions: Lost to SF in Divisional Round
1983-1984 Red Wings: Lost to STL in 1st Round
1983-1984 Pistons: Lost to NYK in 1st Round
1984 Tigers: World Series Champions

2024 Tigers: Lost to CLE in ALDS
2024-2025 Lions: Lost to WAS in DIV
2024-2025 Red Wings: Currently WC2
2024-2025 Pistons: Currently E7
(Pistons must make it past the play-in game to count. NBA and Vegas odds dont count the playin game as the playoffs)

1984 Is the only time all 4 have made the playoffs in a calendar year.

If the Pistons just end up making the play-in, does that count as making the playoffs? I’d assume it doesn’t but since it’s technically the postseason I thought I’d ask.

Yes.
Most sports books have separate odds
For the Pistons

Play In Game ~ -350
Make playoffs ~ -200

Red Wings are still somehow +230!
