I was yelling about this guy when he went undrafted and was desperately hoping the Lions brought him in. Good for the kid. Hope he succeeds.

I liked him too, but just questioned whether there was room for him. After all, the Lions had a proven situational pass rusher extraordinaire in Da Problem–James Houston.
Murphy may be the next Matthew Judon–a D-II guy a lot of teams end up regretting passing on.
