Four Nations

So didn’t the usa already beat them? So Canada wins they win it all, make it make sense

We played them in a group stage game. Top two teams from group stage play in the championship.

Agreed… I hope that is the story line though

Still.

Still. Hey at the end it could be one win each, so dumb

It’s like when you play a divisional opponent in the playoffs. You’ve played them before but this one matters more.

Every team plays each other once to determine points/standings. Top two point teams make the championship game. Winner of the championship is the winner of it all.

I think it’s great, essentially makes every game a game 7.

Its not the same. You lose in the playoffs you are out. So winning the 1st hame was pointless

No, you get named the home team so you get last change after every whistle

And winning that first game clinched us a spot in the championship, so for standings it literally wasn’t pointless.

Oh man. Wow makes a big difference

Usa loses it is very pointless

You don’t think matchups matter in hockey? You don’t think it matters who’s on the ice when McDavid is?

Its 2-2. Its not making much of a difference

Us keeping McDavid under control is literally why we aren’t losing.

Could easily be 4-2 because in your scenario McDavid could be going against your worst players, instead of 2-2 if didn’t have last change
