Frank Ragnow ‘has plenty in him’ to play, Lions’ door remains open

A 2026 return would be huge for many reasons… Lions need to plan like he won’t be there tho

It’d be massive, like having Donald return to the Rams. With Ragnow back, you start thinking in “Superbowl window” terms more.

This is a more positive take.

I would still draft a center in the 4th or with the comp pick. “The 2025 Rimington Trophy finalists for the most outstanding center in NCAA FBS football are Logan Jones** (Iowa), Iapani Laloulu (Oregon), and Jake Slaughter (Florida)**, with the winner to be announced on ESPN’s College Football Awards Show on December 12th. “ So Conner Lew is not included because of his injury and for me that’s 4 guys that are likely to be eventual NFL starters. I like Rat where he is, really like him where he is.

He clearly wants to play, if his body will let him who knows

100% move on as if he is not coming back.

That said that’s not Brad’s MO.

This is how the story should have been handled from the start. Instead of getting Lions fans all drunk on tainted blue kool-aid that we had to puke up the next day.

One of my buddies was acting like I was a nut job, when I said, Ragnar will come back next year… I really think he will

I think he will too.

But I still think the Lions should draft an IOL who can play center and guard. Someone we can develop behind him.

I wonder if Frank has the coaching gene in him?

I’m sure he’s capable. I think he has that Vrable type of vibe….. even a Jeff Saturday personality and traits.
