He still wins. He just doesn’t finish. Admittedly we’ve seen a lot of that though so I can understand the pause. Just per my eye Lawrence is a significantly better run defender than Smith though.
I’d love to get Smith back though I doubt that is happening.

McDermott, man. You know, I used to think he sort of lucked into his elite DL years ago, or at least that it was coincidental/fortuitous/something… a unique “phase” where his DL would be top 5 until players were signed away, but…
If you disregard Josh Allen for a moment and think about that team’s identity, you begin to realize it’s as much trench-warfare/physicality as we are, or even the Ravens. I still contend their OL was the best OL play I witnessed all of last year and it’s clear he’s not letting his DL slip at all.
Sorry to babble, but I’m beginning to dislike them more and more as foes capable of matching up with us, strength on strength.

I agree. I thought their OL play was awesome last year. I had expected the defense to fall off but it never did. Did benefit from playing in an awful division. Would have given the Eagles a much tougher SB I think too.

Gotcha. On one hand I don’t love that bc drops have plagued them. On the other at this point he just give them another #2WR.
I’ve heard lions and Vikings are interested as well……but not sure I believe it.

Personally I would love it if he’s the “solution” to their WR issues. WR fall-off is quick and while no one wants to admit it since him being super-good is fresh in our memories, I think it’s already happened for him.
