Freep: Detroit Pistons exec Trajan Langdon delivers big offseason message

It was a sign and trade. We sent Miami Simone Fontecchio last offseason.

So this is a waiting game. I have no patience at all. Just like Larkin. Hurry up

Plus if we need shooters why get rid of your best shooter.

The Bucks are the problem at this point. The deal between MIL-MIA-DET is already in place. They just don’t want to accept it yet because they want Miami to give even more than they already are.

Yeah we’re not trading Duncan unless it’s for a guy like Trey Murphy who replaces the shooting.

If Lakers get involved for beef stew then probably have to circle back and think pistons wont be part of the trade

The Lakers would need to give the Bucks assets for Stewart. Beef Stew is headed to Milwaukee unless a fourth team gets involved. I think that’s why you’re seeing so many things about who is interested in him because of that.

Herro to Detroit is a done deal basically. He’s not going someplace else at this point unless an asteroid hits Earth.

lol why would the Pistons give up Duncan, Stewart, Holland just to get a guy on an expiring contract who is always injured and sucks in the playoffs?

These are the trades that people want Detroit GMs to make?

Not one person said they want the pistons to make this trade. Im against this trade.

That is a horrific trade for the Pistons if true.

No it’s not.

If we give up anything more than Stewart and LeVert for Herro I’m not going to be very happy.

I would do Stew, or Ron, or our first with expiring. Any 2 of the 3 sounds not so good.

I honestly dont see TL doing this deal

Yikes. Holland, Stew and Robinson is a huge overpay, I don’t believe Langdon is that stupid.

I saw another rumor of Stew+21st pick which is also an overpay IMO. I don’t get why Langdon would give up that much. Herro only has 1 year left in his deal and the Pistons have leverage because the Bucks and Heat need them to facilitate this trade. I’ll think a lot less of Langdon if either of those trades come to fruition and I’m on board with the Herro addition, just not at that price.

Thats why i dont see this happening. Herro is good but why would the pistons give more then what Miami will get for Giannis

The Pistons are the facilitator in this trade. They are doing Miami a favor to take on Herro’s salary so they can acquire Giannis. Anything more than a cap dump from the Pistons end is a loss.

Sorry, but too much baggage (exp. contract, injuries, poor playoff performance) to justify giving up any decent asset for him. Good player, too much baggage.
