Anyone else watching Michigan get jail sexed by the refs?
5-2 in penalties so far….
I’m definitely watching. Penalties were pissing me off. This game is intense. 2OT and still tied up.
I was expecting 3 on 3 for the first overtime. Didn’t realize they kept it 5 on 5 for the playoffs and frozen four.
■■■■….there it is. Denver wins it in 2nd OT.
Oh well. Still a great showing by the Maize and Blue.
This absolutely sucks.
U of M dominated most of the game and certainly the OT periods…
but they lost.
I can’t excuse the discrepancies of penalties in the outcome.
Denver has had quite the hockey program for awhile. The wings very own Carter Mazur is an alum!
That said I’ll be pulling for Wisconsin, would be great for them to finish their season with a win.

Sometimes you just run into a hot goalie. That kid for Denver was on his A game. Nothing you can do but tip your cap.

That’s a significant advantage… and a few calls against Michigan seemed pretty weak.

1-0wisconsin going into the 3rd. Pulling for them, would be cool if they won for the first time since 2006

Incredible season that kid had, leading the entire NCAA in save percentage at an unheard number of .957% He was a hot goalie alright, and not just for a couple of games lol
