When doing my weekly pick em games in the den league I just noticed 2 really good games on Saturday this weekend. FYI for those like me who didn’t know.
1pm - Houston vs KC
4:30pm - Steelers vs Ravens
All 4 should be playoff teams.

Everyone knew.
.
The college football playoffs are on Saturday too.
Kinda surprised the NFL and CFP are playing at the same time. Usually they avoid competing with each other completely.
So if you look into this a bit you will realize that the NFL played these 4 teams on Saturday so they can scramble them up and play the same 4 squads on Christmas Day (a Wednesday).
I love it for my viewing pleasure but I am beginning to question how good this is for the game and the players. Most of these short week games are kind of crappy. Not sure if it is players being sore or not enough time to install a solid game plan. But so many stinkers.
Good points… Player safety my ass. Steelers for example play on short rest back to back weeks. Sun, Sat, Wed is pretty wild. 3 games in 11 days. I’m sure that won’t cause any injuries…lol
Pffft, all AFC teams and unless they are playing somebody to help the Lions out IDGAF
Just heard those games are on Netflix
Xmas games that is
Nah NFL just gives the middle finger to college and tells them to find another day. Only if ratings suffer will NFL change.
I’d imagine they might. The CFP will get huge ratings. I like it though, can switch back and forth. Skip most commercials that way.
You did know there were cfb playoffs this weekend correct?
Also, first game is Friday night.
Hope they fixed the issues they had with the Tyson fight
And this week (or next however you look at it), a Saturday double-header and another MNF double-header too.
Like can we not just give these guy ample time to rest? Nobody had a problem with a 16 Sundays and MNF. Now we have Thursday, and Saturday (which is fine, for the playoffs). Give it a rest NFL. You already own all the money.
I don’t care either.
