Next year i am thinking of taking an overnight flight from PHX to DTW go to the game then take a late flight to Vegas for a few days. Does anyone know where I could store a carryon bag for the day since I do not plan on staying overnight in Detroit?
Too bad you are not in Japan.
They have storage lockers all over the place for just such a situation. Especially at train stations and such. That is what you need for sure. And large ones that fit luggage.
You could ask the airport if you could check it back into the next flight? Or you could check it and not grab it so they put it into the lost luggage area room. And then circle back and grab it. Not ideal but an idea.
An alternative might be to use UPS or FedEx to ship what you need directly to the hotel in Vegas. That would certainly make your travel to Detroit simple.
Yes this is also a great idea.
I am thinking you should be able to find some place that can store it for the game.
So far nothing in Metro Detroit or near DTW ![]()
I would just call a hotel. Usually you can just store luggage with many of them even if you aren’t there.
I think this may be my best bet. I am hoping the Westin at DTW will store for the day.
It might be a little unconventional, but would your things fit in a balloon or two? Self storage. Pack accordingly because it’s going to be last in / first out.
that’s AI for you.
are you flying in and out of Detroit the same day?
If so, why not check your bag in before going to the game.
Deltas website says you can’t check your bag more than 6 hours before flight time.
Or try the Greektown casino hotel. Close Walking distance from stadium. And gambling! They also have Double D’s!
That’s Dunkin’ Donuts, perverts.
Lions game on no sleep then straight to Vegas after the game!
Confirmed this guy knows how to party ![]()
Just anywhere on any street should be fine.

Why’d I have to pack my golf cleats?
Whatever you do, don’t let anyone named Tatum near your bags.
Just call me Rudi
