I do think part of it is they keep signing Japanese pitchers. In Japan pitchers pitch once per week. If you have done that for many years and then now you are pitching every 5th day… That’s a big change to pitchers throwing routines. Also signing guys like Snell and Glasnow… Both have long injury histories. No surprise they keep getting injured.
Glasnow is in season 11… Has made only 115 starts. So he averages about 10 per season. Crazy
