at first when Gibby came to Detroit, I thought the guy would do nothing and we would cut him for sure, but MY GOD am I glad we have him-it’s almost like having two Montgomery’s out there ! Gibbs is a beast and I love it ! GO LIONS !!!

I am not sure I can name anyone clearly better all around. Gibbs is as good as it gets I think.

Gibbs right now reminds me of prime Kamara
The last few games Gibbs has started to really show his pass catching abilities. Hitting that dude in stride is dangerous.
This offense is starting to look unstoppable
Like hitting that next level NFL type offense that people talk about in their sleep

Yeah, I only threw him out there because Henry is amazing. But Gibbs, that guy is unreal. The fact that we have him and Monty signed for the next four years is crazy. I just can’t believe that after watching these bastards for 45 years it’s the best time to be a Lions fan.

I think you’re accurate in this ranking, kid has been fantastic and really seems like he has more to give. I expect to see a few more long runs this season, 40+yards.
The step to the outside at around the 36 yard line and the cut back inside around the 32 yard line is a great example of what made/makes Gibbs special. That ability is one of the things that was highlighted in the pre-draft reports.

My only point of contention is that Henry is basically a 1 trick pony. He takes a pitch and finds a hole. He is not great at pass catching in general. But damn is he good at that one thing. Barkley is truly in his prime. Again my only question is if he can be used as a slot like Gibbs is becoming.
But in general I would agree those 2 are it. Bijon is still not amazing IMO. He needs a better RB coach. He misses too many holes and is not showing enough patience
K9 is also damn good running the rock but he is brittle and does not seem to be much of a pass catcher.
Also Monty is in his prime also. He seems to maximize and squeeze every inch out of his runs. Watching other games yesterday you really appreciate what the Lions have going.

Interesting note… The Lions didn’t use an extra lineman once this game. Must’ve been tired from all the reporting as eligible against Dallas last week.

That’s pretty wild, especially against a heavy-blitzing team like Minnesota. It also says a lot about how we planned to attack their heavy blitzing. We put a lot on Goff’s shoulders this game, and he came through.
