Glenn O. Swing Elementary declares 'Lions Spirit Day' in honor of hometown

Something I never knew or heard before:

As a senior, he was named first-team All-State and the Class 2-A, District Six Player of the Year after leading the team with 126 tackles on defense and rushing for 1,567 yards and 22 touchdowns on 150 carries on offense.

Wow. Averaged over 10 yards per carry. That’s phenomenal.

You know, he may never be a superstar, but I’m pulling for him. He seems like a really good dude and puts in the work. Hard not to like a guy like that.
