in the short, medium and long term? Short term in particular but I’d also like to hear what traits they prize for the next QB whenever that is.

One is 250lbs and runs a 4.78 forty. An in the box type of LBer.
One is 230 lbs and runs a 4.48 forty. An off ball type of LBer.
If player A is a hall of famed to be but smokes way too much weed do you still take him? Same question but he slides a few rounds in the draft or is available significantly below market value in FA.
Do you prefer to win games, or lose them?
Will you wear pants or no pants, while getting drive-through?
In overtime, in the event of winning a coin toss, do you take the wind, or receive?
…how about in an indoor stadium?
In the event of an apparent first down, do you throw the red flag, or just let it slide?
If you are ahead by 2 by 2 TDs, how do you feel about run, run, pass?
What offenses do you have a zero tolerance policy against and do you have the spine to back it up?
If you are the only one in the room who sees something special in a prospect, who do you trust; your own instinct or the group of professionals you surrounded yourself with?
Do you have enough experience in enough schemes to scout linebackers for more than 1 type of defense?
Do you consider compensatory picks valuable or a novelty?
