I absolutely loved when we picked DMO up in free agency but I thought drafting Gibbs was going to be the most important draft pick the Lions made in the last 20 years.
The guy has the ability to be a 2500 yard all purpose back. No doubt in my mind about it. Going back to his college reel he is really physical for his size though it gets lost with his speed pyrotechnics. He can and is willing to do everything.
The article describes Gibbs as I saw him from day one. Superiorily confident on the field but going about his business quietly. Letting actions speak louder than words.
Watch him get those few last yards taking on a defender and staring them down after owning them.
Iām glad Choice sees it the way i do and is here to help the young man take that next step.
