Vikings extended a right of first refusal tender to restricted free agent K Greg Joseph.
He’d make $2.433 million on the tender. Joseph was a top fantasy option in 2021 for a Vikings team that attempted the NFL’s fourth-most (38) field goals. Joseph made 36 of his 40 extra point attempts and nailed seven of his nine kicks from more than 50 yards out. The Vikings seem to want to keep their first reliable kicker in some time. However, Joseph is a former UDFA, so the Vikings would get no compensation in return if they don’t match an offer sheet.
