Good watch…I like the ending commentary about “that’s a Lion”.
Thanks for posting
Another team with a mold like Campbell’s Lions is Harbaugh’s Ravens. That is a tough, tough team.
In year one many of the smart voices on this board were skeptical of a 1st time head coach (Miami experiment aside) with a 1st time DC. Most were happy we got the ex-Chargers head coach to run the offense. Well, year one Dan de facto fires Lynn and calls plays himself and things got better. I’m still not sure what that Lynn issue was.
Year two starts poorly and many think Dan can’t get it done. I didn’t want Dan fired but I was pissed. We ain’t finding a coach mid-stream so let Dan finish out that season. The Lions were embarrassed by New England, Miami and the Cowboys overall. Awful. But then we beat the Packers at home. Aiden!! Then we squeak by the Bears. Then we win against an emerging Giants team in their house. This ship was righting itself right there. That team should have beaten the Bills on Thanksgiving. And the run continues with ALL of wondering what the F happened in the Carolina game. So no playoffs but we again beat Rodgers and kicked them out of the playoffs.
And our collection of grit players continued. Kalif Raymond (unwanted by the Jets). Josh Reynolds (cut by the Titans). Glasgow. People’s. Alex Anzalone. Ceedy Deuce. Sutton. And the originator of grit here:Jared Goff. Good enough for Detroit.
Kenny Golladay was easily allowed to leave.
I love what this club is building and I hope this club can find a way to win on Sunday. And if we do win on Sunday it is because the Lions did the dirty work better than the Bucs. Grit.
We need to give Coach Dan a biiiiig raise.
GOAT
Yup - & we word it like “an MCDC guy”. Pat was calling it a lion. Same exact thing. Love it!
All this is brand new, everthing! Very hard to take it all in.
Music to my ears.
