Weak! He took 3 steps forward into his throw:
Edit: 3 minute 2o second mark.

Indoctrination vs education.
In the words of that clip from 97.1…
Goff has a good 8, maybe 10 to 12 inches!
And his girlfriend ain’t complaining.
I don’t think the problem was that he couldn’t step into it. It’s that by the time he threw it - he was pressured - he didn’t have enough end zone to work with given Jamo’s positioning. As Jared said, he would have needed to throw the ball sooner, before Jamo had eaten up much of the space between himself and the back of the endzone.
But if the question is whether that throw shows the limits of Goff’s arm strength, your final point is the key one: Jared can certainly throw it farther than he did there.
If the Lions go 3-and-out just once…. with 3 straight running plays…
Cowherd will flip and blame Goff.
He used to throw shade at Stafford all the time… and then acted like he knew he was great all along when things went well last season.

We’re Detroit. They weren’t expecting an overnight turn around.
They’re having a hard time adjusting. Mainly because they don’t want to have to.
Every accolade comes with the remembrance of SOL.
In a few years the memory muscle will learn.
In re Goff’s arm strength, y’all remember this one?: 60 yards in the air under duress and off his back foot on the Hail Mary.
Among STARTING NFL QBs, very few could do what Jared does there.

Endzone is 10 yards deep, the ball hit the defender at the goal line. another 3 yards of arm strength and it’s TD. That would be a toss 3 yards into the EZ.
Goff is entering his prime, and he has arm strength. Once he gets on the same page with Jamo he’s gonna kill it.
Goff in his prime might be the best QB we’ve ever had in Detroit
Well there’s plenty of evidence that the arm strength is there
What we’re seeing is a lack of timing and chemistry with Williams on his routes

Will be.

No. He certainly under threw by more than 3 yds if the goal is to hit Jamo in stride.
At any rate I’m not defending the throw. It wasn’t a great throw by any means. He had more distance to work with, no doubt. But he didn’t under throw him for lack of arm strength.

I am his doctor. I have no issues , i am in my prime now like a well tuned machine

This is comedy gold!

Hey…Don’t take me there*
She slept with geof, but good qbs keep the partner awake all night
Before everyone gets too hyped up with college QBs, here’s Goff in the end zone (not Anzalone highlights.)
