From now on I will just refer to him as QB1
Or Ryan Gosling’s doppelganger.
It’s hilarious the lengths some will go to avoid using the word, “elite”, when talking about Goff (not you, Jman).
The Choir got it so wrong they just can’t do it.
Some will remember, I was never in that choir or even singing that song.
I wish I really had written names down a year plus ago, but, they know who they are. Good enough.
I think we should refer to him as Blade Runner … even though he’s not a runner.
I had low expectations for JG. Didn’t like his mechanics at all, didn’t like the fumbles, didn’t like that he appears to not strength train at all, ever.
But he’s in really good place right now. Been around long enough to know what’s what.
I think you meant Goof.

He’s been in a good place for well over a year. It has just taken this long for some to stop sucking off the media long enough to notice.
I hadn’t thought about that strength training thing. He has a frame that can handle a lot more muscle. Maybe that can be the next chapter of his growth.
Burrow had a nice jump in his throwing ability from year 1 to year 2 after dedicating himself to getting stronger. If can make a difference.
Goff has an enzyme deficiency that interferes with his ability to process proteins so his ability to bulk up is limited.
That explains the noodle for an arm.

He needs to strengthen his noodle

Judging by his lady friend I think his noodle is accurate and satisfying.
It’s nearing a year, not really well-over.
I mean, there was a game around this point last year where even an ardent supporter was “over” him. There were times at this point in the season last year where MCDC was publicly lighting a fire under his ass. The really “good place” that he’s been in occurred mid-season last year.
The two most notable things to me were:
- No longer drifting back in the pocket (and stepping into harms way).
- Being willing to play winning football. (Throwing to receivers on critical down and distances with the expectation that they’re going to do their part.) We started hearing the narrative of “expecting success”. I think it took some time for that to really sink in. I think it was really quite liberating for the QB. It’s not just an infusion of confidence to do his thing, it’s holding the receivers to a standard that the coaches are trying to establish. I truly believe he embraced this only about mid-season last year.
It worked.

I sure hope she thinks his arm is….Ohhhh!
I’ve tried explaining to my boys that there will be a downturn in their mental processing abilities at around age 12. They’ll begin to recover somewhere around 20. ![]()
I think we bottom out at that point we’re lighting our own farts.

The offense was humming last season when the defense was giving away games. That’s not on Goff.
You can go back to Hard Knocks and listen to Brunell, BJ, and Campbell. They all said the same thing.
We scored more points than our opponents through the first 4 games while narrowly losing 3 of them.
I see what you did there ![]()
