I actually thought that scoring the TD was the smarter play there due to the weather conditions. It was damn near a blizzard at that point, and the field goal certainly wasn’t a given. Kicking balls are generally slicker than the regular game balls.
Its interesting that Gurley’s brain fart came against us because he also made a really smart run against us as a Ram.

I thought the exact same thing… plus throwing a hail mary wouldn’t have been too likely for Tua in that weather.
