Help me deal with this guys

No, where they at? Ive heard of them but never been…they a midwest thing?

Buc-ee’s is great. It’s a destination stop for road trips.

Wisconsin is pretty great. And while I do hate the packers, Lambeau is an awesome place.

Madison was a spectacular city.

what rod said. they’re an ‘event’ if you’re travelling. they’re more southern. I think Kentucky is the northernmost one IIRC.

like 100+ gas pumps and you go inside and they have just about everything you might need and their fresh food is really good.

And stand in a line of 50 people just to get some Doritos and a pop.

We tried one once. A 10 minute stop became over an hour to go to the bathroom and get a sanwich. My wife won’t go near them now.

Yea, me neither and I’m in a buc-ee’s 2-5x a month, they aren’t chikfila efficient but do a good job.

Now womens restroom is another situation, depending on when you are there I’ve seen that line go way into the store…

But cleanest restrooms you will find, it’s the one 'gas station" restroom my wife and daughter are willing to use due to how clean they keep them.

We stick to the official “rest stations”. Never a line, always sparkling clean.

So, each year since 2019, I have felt a calling to go in a sojourn in my Harley …

Last year was Nova Scotia and I’ve been praying about where to go in 2025, July and August. My initial idea was Vancouver BC …

Then I am reading this post and I googled some of the places mentioned early in the thread.

And now, I think I’ve heard it…. As to where to go and wander on my bike…

Not trying highjack the thread but maybe give a travel idea to you all as well; circling Lake Superior!!

I even found the map for it!! Gas stations are my only concern …. Besides weather and random, carnivorous bears!!

Well, Vancouver is also a great idea, been there two times for business and hit the ravine, lumberjack mountain absolutely beautiful

Your situation is fortunate. Savory every moment and chance to spend with your son. Make the moments and watch him and his family grow.

Not everyone is fortunate like you. Cherish it while you can.

Thaks Air, i’m sure you know that alot of this is tongue in cheek. Wisconsin has been a dirty word for so long, but the more I find out about it, the nicer it seems.

My son stopped by last night and this morning on his way up from Miami to say “goodby”. Uhaul in tow. Next stop - my daighter’s house in Georgia.

Its not really good-bye, its just a new reality. I said, are you sure about this? He said - out of all the people I’ve talked to who have been in Wisconsin, no one has said, “Meh”. Everyone loves it. I guess i will learn to as well. Thx for your words of wisdom.
