The idea is that the death of the old board is a good excuse to turn away from so much internet time and dedicate that time to real life endeavors. Some can do it, some can’t. We will see which side he ends up falling on.
What I think might push the needle one way or the other is the quick and sudden death of the board, but with it technically still being “open.” I don’t know. For some reason it seems to me like the worst of all outcomes.
I hope Vince makes it here as well. One poster I miss is SportyCliche. He still would come back at draft time, but he was knowledgeable, would often disagree but never made it personal or whined.
Iggy, I know we’ve taken our shots at each other, but I’m mellowing with age, and I think you are too… here’s to turning over a new leaf… I’ve appreciated your viewpoints much more here on this board!
This new board has been a nice place to post. Respectful, collegial conversations that carried over from the FB page - from those who gathered to leave the mess of the old board
I hope we can keep this climate the same going forward - Surely it will help having moderators who don’t wield their power as a whip and an extension of their opinions
I look forward to many conversations this season with all of you. Agree or disagree - Go Lions!
My spirit animal is a cockroach
My theme song is your last earworm
My coat of arms is a surveillance drone on a background of spiderwebs
I’m like bad fashion in the 70s, Phil Collins songs on the radio in the 80s, Blockbuster stores in the 90s and fake mortgages in the 00s…I Am Everywhere!
Get rid of me…ha. So far that has only been successful for two women and 2 tech companies. Both companies went under after I left and both exes have cancer.
My last 5 vacation destinations? Egypt, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts, Florida Panhandle, the Bahamas. 4 hurricanes and 1 revolution.
