His name was Robert Paulson

RIP, Meat Loaf

I saw him at the Great Jones County Fair in Iowa and it was one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. Didn’t own any of his albums/tapes/CD’s but could appreciate the talent. It’s amazing to me how many of Keith Richards contemporaries he has out lived.

“Paradise by the Dashboard Lights” is hysterical and brilliant. Gonna download “Bat Out of Hell” today.

So many legends dying recently. Never seen anything like it. RIP Louie and Meatloaf!

We’ve lost a ton of them, just today.

And last week, Bob Saget. A legend in his own right.

And before that, Betty â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  White.

Not a great start to the year.

And the one that hit me the hardest was Madden! He made the NFL what it is today. At least most of them lived long lives.

I like to imagine Meatloaf and Madden talking about Thanksgiving day Turducken recipes up in Heaven.

Broadway is dark tonight

Let’s hope there’s not a next.

I loved me some Meatloaf. Been listening to the same for five songs for the past damn near 40 years. Louie was a big loss too. Also, Norm McDonald, was comedic gold. I’ve been watching many YouTube videos of him over the past several months. In fact I was just watching one about 30 minutes before I came upon this post. RIP boys, you’ll be missed.

2016…
Merle, Nancy Reagan, Ali, Prince, Howe and many others…
Wicked brutal.

I don’t cuss anymore, but I do have a few choice words for 2020 and 2016. Especially 2016.
