With Raymond going off Sunday it got me thinking about all the great returner the Lions have had.
How many pro bowlers and all pros they have had at returner.
Since I was a kid:
Mel Gray
Glen Milburn
Desmond Howard
Eddie Drummond
I know I am
Forgetting some guys.
Not a probowler but stefan logan had some decent returns.
Jack Christiansen, way way way before my time but guy had 8 punt returns for tds… what
Lem Barney
Lions have had some good returners through the years.
I also grew up on a healthy dose of Mel Gray.
Loved all of the guys mentioned (save for Lem, because I’m merely old rather than old AF).
By the time I actually started watching football I believe the return guys were Pete Mandley and Robbie Martin
Eddie Payton.
A very short timer but he had a punt and kickoff return for a TD in the same game.
Jamal Agnew was electric before his knee injury.
Jeremy Ross was solid for a minute as well.
I remember a game many years ago in Jaxsonville… I think Drummond had 2 return tds in the same game and pretty sure we still lost… Lol someone can fact check that one.

While not all timers, Terry Fair and Stephon Logan had some electrifying return moments.
And then Logan had that one other moment…
