Multiple times I’ve seen my old team (pre-Lions fan era) go to an unfamiliar surface and look like they had cement shoes or roller skates on, and play like crap, people slipping and falling down only to say after the game that they didn’t have the right cleats.
Well, HAVE the right cleats!!
Even if it’s a nice day there, they’ll be playing in the evening. West coast in the winter moisture starts to form as soon as the temp drops.
