Oh man, Thursday night in Detroit,
with the 29th pick we have a trade…
If it happens, it happens. Every true fan should should want a Championship, not to “win the draft”.
I would say Laporta. The other TE was Michael Mayer. Just a guess.
I sure as hell didn’t see Laporta coming (lol)
…or Branch to the extent he did.
I expected late season Gibby from the get, as well as faster development from Campbell
Probably Sorsdal
That would be my guess as well, especially since they had such a high grade on Gibbs and specifically traded up for Branch.
Holmes can pretty much make any trade he wants during the draft and you’d be a fool to doubt him at this point. The guy is crushing the drafts. Free agency has been a mixed bag but his background in college scouting is clearly his top strength as GM
Nobody should care. Anyone parting with their hard earned money and time to “see the 29th pick” vs. “attending a kick ass party in downtown Detroit” might as well just set their money on fire.
Spoiler Alert: Brad Holmes gives exactly two ■■■■■ about what any of us think or feel, and that’s exactly how it should be because nothing any of us say or do will help put a Lombardi in a shiny glass case at Allen Park.
He’s gonna trade our first for a 2nd+ a 4th this year…plus a first next year!
C’mon up cruddy team…who wants it?
MN?
Imma call a trade up to get Arnold or Mitchell if either is available in later teens.
To call this shot further, Denver will trade baxk from 12 to 16-17, to pick up some draft capital there then Detroit will acquire that pick for #29, Hendon Hooker and 2025 3RP.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a trade down and Holmes finding the next LaPorta (at another position, of course).
