How About them White Sox!

19 straight losses… haven’t won a game since July 10th.

Only 42 games out of first place :joy:

It’s also funny that they aren’t eligible for the draft lottery, and can pick no higher than 10th.

Especially since Ethan Holliday will be in this draft.

Good chance they lose 125 games. That aint easy to do.

It was only about 2 years ago that many thought they were the best young team in the league.

That shit fell apart fast.

I bet their tickets are a few bucks to watch. I dont feel sorry at all though

That park is a tomb. Cement mausoleum…new one cant come fast enough.

All their young pitchers got hurt, bad for years and years.

Eloy finally moved after 4 years of health issues

LouBob 1 full season in 5

Moncada flamed out fast, Anderson faster, Vaughn never caught fite, Grandal got old and was traded.

Its been ugly and it will be that way for 2 more years.

Pretty good chance they bounce that awful Nate Cornejo and Dmitri Young led 03 Tigers squad out of worst AL record (43-119) , and maybe the 62 Mets (42-120) out of worst all time by goibg 12-40 here on out

What rule is there for this, not eligible for the lottery, I don’t know the rule or forgot it.

It’s a little confusing to me. It has something to do with market size and payroll, I think. I’ll try to read up on it later.

All I know right now for sure is that both Chicago and Oakland are ineligible for the lottery this year and can’t pick higher than 10th.

For us, it essentially moves us up 2 spots in the draft since both would have been picking ahead of us.

Rotation that year.

Mike Maroth 9-21
Jeremy Bonderman 6-19
Nate Cornejo 6-17

I still have the ticket from the only Tigers game I have ever been to.
2003, Gary Knotts pitched vs. Seattle. I was 15.

Sox only down 3 runs… bottom of the 8th.

I’m kinda cheering for them now… feels like the 2008 Lions :joy:

If they ever win a game… good chance of a riot in downtown Chicago

I was listening to SiriusXM MLB channel today

The 21 consecutive loss Orioles of 1988 look nothing at all like these dirty Sox.

Ripken and Eddie Murray in their prime. Mike Boddicker, Scott McGregor, Brady Anderson fresh off a 51 HR 1987, 21 year okd Curt Schilling and Pete Harnisch, and some solid vets, like for one Larry Sheets.

Thats 2 HoF, another that should be and plenty of talent.

The dirty Sox…well, they’re absolutely destitute of talent.

They have one guy though who has an interesting way to cope with it.

Gavin Sheets…because he can just call his Dad, Larry and talk about it 20 game loser to 20 game loser.

my wifes family are all insufferable chicago sports fans. This turn of events absolutely pleases me, especially the shit they talked after the tigers horrible season and the lioins 0-16.

Now we need the Bulls to lose 32 in a row.

Right now their winning % of .235 is lower than either of those teams. So yeah, pretty good chance.

They’re the 2023-2024 Pistons of Major League Baseball.
