First of all, this is me time. None of my friends are football/draft freaks to the extent that they would add anything but noise during the process. Been there, done that, didn’t work. A stand-by therapist inside a break-in-case-of-emergency box is the only sentient company I need.
My ritual wailing and gnashing of teeth will be with the NFL Network on TV, with The Athletic Podcast including Dane Brugler, Robert May and Nate Tice on the lap top, and with hyperventilating, melting down and catastrophizing Densters on the Draft Thread with my phone.

Watch on ABC via antenna (so that I’m as live as can be), because no matter how hard we try, there’s always one in here who just doesn’t care.
Beer and something simple like some pulled pork nachos. Then sadly have to open at work Friday so I may not even make it to 29th. Maybe Brad will hook me up and get cookin’ a little earlier.
I should be watching it with all my buddies in my new black Jared Goff jersey, but instead of ordering it to Tuscaloosa, I ordered it to Huntsville because the original ship date was May 7th (just for them to change it to ■■■■■■■ Wednesday!!!).
So instead, I will be watching the draft with all of my buddies in my old out-of-style dilapidated white St. Brown jersey.
So you have buddies who have some sense of the gravity of the NFL Draft and why the course of world events is forever changed by the selections made. How did you find such freaks? Or do they just like beer?

I will be enjoying work with one AirPod in my ear and a hat covering it. And probably what will end up being 100 times where someone is talking to me and then has to say “Hello???”
Being an adult isn’t for everyone, but you know you’re doing the right thing. Like @CuriousHusker knowing the wife is more important than the full lobotomy experience the draft induces in people like me.
