He’s played exactly one game since we bounced his ass out of the playoffs. How much better can he get in one game?
I admit though, that I have no idea what Tampa did in the off-season. I don’t know if the Washington game is a true indication of them being better.

We just played and beat Stafford…
I mean on the scale of QBs that scare me he is at best middle of the pact.
Is he a baller…yes
Will he fight to the end…yeah buddy

Washington defense was the worst in the league last year giving up over 30 points a game.
We held Tampa to 23 in the playoff game. We also allowed the Rams 23 in the playoffs.
This year we held Rams to 20. I think we hold Tampa to 20 as well.

I have become a fan of him since he joined the bucks. I loved that he did his td dance with st. Brown at the probowl. The guy is a fighter. I didnt like him at first but he grew on me. I think he will play well but hopefully make a crucial mistake or 2.

Baker deserves respect, all the more because he has good weapons. They’ll doubtless be extra motivated after the Lions beat 'em in the playoffs.
OTOH, he’s not gonna beat you w/his legs, which I still consider the Lions’ kryptonite til proven otherwise, and the Lions’ O, in particular, will be super-motivated to improve on last week’s performance. Lions also came out of last week healthy, which is a huge plus beyond the win.
I like the Lions’ chances.

I am at a 4. I feel like regardless of if he plays well or not, I expect us to outscore their defense than vice versa.
If we can get consistent pressure on him he will crack. He doesn’t have the ability to get it out of his hands as quickly as Stafford does and when he rushes he makes mistakes. We played fairly well coverage against the Rams (all things considered). If we can play at that level I think we win. Offensively we need to establish the run and control the game. Steady diet of DMONT and Gibby.

I’m concerned enough. He wasn’t an easy out last year and by all accounts, the team around him has gotten better.
He looked damn good last week.
The Bucs aren’t going to be a pushover.

I view Baker like a stand up brawler in an MMA fight. He’s going to throw haymakers so he will always have a punchers chance. We can’t allow the 40 yard + completions or scrambles and we should win this.

Since Love got hurt I had to turn to Baker for my fantasy QB. Hope he throws for five touchdowns in a loss.
I always like the guy and find myself routing for him. He was pretty popular when he first came into league and then fell off and bounced around. I’m rooting for him anytime he doesn’t play us!!
