Alim McNeil watches Reba is what I got out of that. .
I wish they made that decision after halftime.
Exactly, what took him so long. Concerning.
I love Gibbs, but it was obvious Monty was on another level. His vision is really good. He averaged 1 more yard after contract per attempt than Gibbs.
Gibbs got a first down almost every time he touched the ball. I think they used him well. The #1 thing that kept the rams in it was penalties (as well as officials not calling ones that should be there).
Behind penalties, the incomplete passes did leave Matt a lot more time to operate, and running definitely helps that.
What is missing here is ppl are looking it like 1 game. Our goal is the SB. These RBs keep e/o fresh so we can have them both for the SB run. Sometimes, in scenarios, you can lean more heavily (obviously), but where’s the line? Monty was definitely the hot hand tonight, and they did it perfectly in OT. Would have been cool if they just did it in the 4th instead of OT.
Allz I’m saying is - I love 'em both, I support the coaches and the way they won…adn I think we learned some very valuable lessons last night.
Me too. Not knocking Gibbs at all. He did great…but you could see Monty was on another level, so to not see him in the second half was puzzling.
Like to see them both on the field at the same time.
