Barry wasn’t just the best. he was the most humble guy in all of sports for the amount of talent he had. I don’t recall even one arrogant word from him.
He thought Barry was too soft and afraid to get hit. Barry was the back up until the starter got suspended. Barry might’ve spent his life as a bricklayer if that suspension doesn’t happen. Let that sink in.
Best of all time at any position … if you look at it from the viewpoint of : who had the most unique ability, that would have been equally successful no matter when or where they played?
