I for one don’t think it’s a very responsible idea to go into the season counting on Iffy to play like he did at the end of last season for 17 games. He was on an absolute tear, and he hasn’t been able to stay healthy throughout his career.
How much does the top remaining safety cost?
It just isn’t worth investing money in a guy at safety. I agree that they need to sign a reliable starter at safety yet. Thankfully the safety market is flooded and we could probably grab a solid veteran for cheap.

I actually wouldn’t hate Jamal Adams on a team friendly deal.
It’s basically take your pick of a vet S. Theres a bunch. And as FA goes on those will get cheaper and cheaper and shorter deals.

Just think of this on a different level. If Davenport stays healthy we don’t even have to have a LB on the field in passing situations. Bring in Houston to bring heat on the QB.

Given the age difference I’d put my money on Iffy missing less games
