For the record I don’t think we should sign him. He’s not a good fit for this culture most likely, he’s probably too expensive, and we already signed 2 corners, but just for fun what do you guys think he’s going to get money wise?
A one year deal in the 6-8mil range with maybe some incentives tied in.
The only CB I would consider at this point is a NB. Both Sutton or Jacobs may slide to the nickel this year, but we don’t have an obvious starter. Will Harris is the utilty guy who can fill in everywhere as needed.
A guy like Sean Murphy Bunting would still be a solid signing, but likely means we don’t entertain a CB in the drafts first two days (unless they moved Okudah).
I personally think the only other addition we make to the group is a day 2 rookie.

Harris
Those are 5 guys I would consider locks for the roster (barring Okudah being, traded which I really don’t want or think will happen). The Lions also appeared to really like Chase Lucas last year, but he could probably survive another year on the PS.
Most teams carry at least 5 CBs, some even carry 6. We already have 5 there so if we added another FA, there is no more room for a draft pick.
I noticed that Will Harris never got a chance to test FA. He must have some value.
I’m not worried about nickel. We have Corners that can slide.

Actually, 7. Price is still on the roster, too.

and Price being a standout 4 phase special teamer makes him more valuable than most unproven DBs….

Clark Phillips is who I’m hoping ends up our nickel. He forces turnovers which our current corners don’t do a lot of.
H is 5’9 not surer he fits what Lions want . an he will be at best day two pick
He had one FF an one INT that is not a lot.

Clark Phillips had 9 interceptions and returned 4 for touchdowns in his career at Utah. He’s a baller and is most likely a top 50 pick.
