Prospect as in potential player at the NFL level. I have not seen him show any high level throwing ability, ability to throw without a proper foundation, or unique touch whatsoever. He is a big kid with decent athletic ability as far as speed, but he is not elusive. I haven’t seen any ability to make average WR’s productive or do any of the things that a top QB needs to be able to do. Right now he looks like a more athletic Kirk Cousins. Fans get all starry eyed about hype. I have seen him play 3 games and have yet to see anything near a high level of QB play or ability.
And what average WR did Stafford make look great at Georgia?..since this is your measuring stick.
And is Stafford more elusive than TL?

FYI, Stafford averaged less than 200 yards a game passing at Georgia while TL is averaging 250 yards per game. So what average WR’s was Stafford making look great again?
Yes Stafford has led the league in avoiding sacks and is very elusive in the pocket. He has made guys like Durham and Massaquoi were in the NFL for a blink. Throwing ability is on two totally different levels between Stafford and Laurence. Laurence could develop into a quality NFL quarterback, but that is a projection nothing more.
And Leonard Pope, Knowshown Moreno, and a WR that was the 4th overall pick in the 2011 draft, AJ Green.
Let’s not pretend like Stafford had nothing at Georgia.

I challenge anyone on this board to go back and see what was wrote before the season and what actually happen.
Also like to point out that lions 2020 has lied in numerous post trying desperately to be right that’s has been pointed out many times. I begining to think 2020 was the year he started watching football.
All draft picks are just a projection. Nobody knew what Stafford would become in the NFL when he was in college…but both he and Lawrence have shown elite qualities that aren’t seen in most college QB’s.

Laurence is like many college QB’s at elite programs. Winning is projected on them as if they are the reason their team is a top squad. His elite “qualities” are merely measurables, not special throwing ability or ability to read defenses or ball location.
