Hey everyone. I have been a lion fan for 37 years. I grew up on the ohio/michigan line and made my alliance to detroit the first time I saw Barry touch the ball. My loyalty has been unwaivering my whole life. I have been reading and lurking on this site since 2001 or so. I have followed through all the different sites. I posted one time way back when and was immediately laughed off the site. I vowed to never post again. Since then, i feel like this board has come a long way and there is definitely more respect shown and the mods do a great job. I come to this site at least 5 times a day. I really enjoy the topics and discussions here.
Most of my football/Lion knowledge has come from this site. With all that said, i have a story, so mind blowing to me, i have to break my vow and post. My wife was talking to her brothers wife. (My wife is a saints fan, grew up in NOLA) Her daughter(Brother wifes daughter) lives in the Tampa area. Her daughter is also pregnant. The pregnant couple is telling my wife that Aiden hutchinson is coming to Tampa. I donāt mean for the game. I mean they wholeheartedly believe Tampa is working on a trade for Aiden. If the trade does not work, he will come there when he hits F.A. They believe HE wants to be in TB.
Now, i have a whole lot of reasons not to believe this. Why in the world would Aiden ever want to go to TB?! They believe this so much, they are naming their child āAiden Hutchinson Morganā. they do not know the sex yet, but said it works for a boy or girl. They are not lions fans. They are hard core Tampa fans. My wife asked me if I heard anything about this. I told her thatās crazy talk. What on earth would make them believe this so much, they name their child after him? I have been thinking about this for days and thought I had to shareā¦ I just canāt get my head wrapped around it.

Hutch wanted to live in Detroit near his family and play for the team he grew up watching. He intensely wanted to be here. I think itās weird that they think that.

Iām not sure I buy that. Hutch said he wasnāt a Lions fan, he was a Pats fan. He seemed to not mind the idea of playing in Houston at all. That said, no way heās leaving the Lions soon. Heās a Lion now.

If Hutch wanted to be in FL, he could have showed more outward enthusiasm for the Jacksonville Jaguars and campaigned harder to be No. 1 overall. He didnāt because he didnāt want to go there.

Hutch and Stroud on the same team would be pretty amazing. Two of the best young players in the game at huge impact positions.

You have a whole lot of reasons not to believe this. And no reason other than conjecture by relatives with no sources to think Aidan wants to be anywhere but Detroit.
